I love surprises, so I was excited to review Conscious Box. This is a fun service that you can subscribe to for monthly surprises that include pure and sustainable products. They start at $19/month (with shipping) and are something fun to look forward to! You can order their boxes at: http://www.consciousbox.com/
There were two questions that I had before the box arrived:
(1) Is it gift-worthy?
(2) Are there $19 worth of items? (I know that it was only $12 + shipping, but I think that many of us consider the total price paid when we evaluate if something is worth it.)
The contents were professionally wrapped neatly in tissue paper. The box has a square cut out in the middle with a nature-related photo as shown below. It then comes with a card that suggests several ways to recycle the box, such as using it to plant seeds, storing art supplies, or compositing it. I think that the presentation makes it gift-worthy.
The contents were a mix of mainly samples, plus coupon codes to order additional items online. There were snacks (tortilla chips and crackers), a few drink mixes, a lozenger, tomato seeds, mints, coffee creamer, and a packet of hand cream. (See photo below.) There was then a coupon that was easy to use for a free breakfast cookie. There was also a coupon for Mineral Hygienics for a free full size item, up to $15. It says that the Mineral Hygienics product is completely FREE (up to $15), but you do need to pay shipping costs. There were also coupons for a free tin of mints with purchase at a tea store and $5.00 off at hippiemountainmama.com that I haven't used yet. I mostly excited about the heirloom tomato seeds and mints. The picture below shows the contests of the box. Do you think that it was worth the price?

Best monthly subscription service out there by far. Always filled to the brim with surprises. My box got lost in the mail so I can't name a favorite item yet but Conscious Box did ship me a new one yesterday and added an extra surprise for me too :) I've had the mints and e-boost in pink lemonade before and like both!
