Review: Keranique Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner
Did you know that women make up 40% of American hair loss sufferers according to American Hair Loss Association? The Atlantic Coast Media Group, which is the parent company of the anti-aging skin care brand, Hydroxatone, hired two female women of science to work on solutions for female hair loss sufferers. They came up with the Keranique products to provide revolutionary products for this problem!
Keranique Volumizing Shampoo ($35): First, I love that this is sulfate-free, paraben-free, and fragrance-free! Second, I love that it seems to be gentle and effective at cleaning my hair. It also doesn't weigh it down. My hair looks healthy and shiny! Finally, I was happy that it didn't smell bad.
Keranique Volumizing Conditioner ($35): I was worried that this conditioner would coat my hair in a way that makes it look greasy and flat. I was pleasantly surprised that my hair actually looked great after using it! It was smooth and shiny, but not weighed down or greasy. I think that their press information does a good job explaining how this works, "It is formulated to help hydrate and stimulate micro-circulation around the hair follicle to help nourish the hair. The conditioner's blend of technologies penetrates each hair shaft to help smooth cuticles, mend split ends, and decrease hair breakage."
In preparing for this review, I searched for what others thought of Keranique Shampoo and Conditioner. If you visit the Home Shopping Network (HSN), you'll find that there are people that love these products. The shampoo has a 4.6/5 rating from 9 users. I love the comment from the person that said that the shampoo really helped their limp hair. I felt the same way! The conditioner has a 5/5 rating from 6 users. It's rare that I see a product with a perfect rating like this on the Internet. I love the comment from the person that says that they feel good leaving the house in the morning because their hair looks great and they never felt that way before! I agree that a good hair day makes your day much better!
I haven't tried the intensive treatments or other products such as the serum, lifting spray, or mousse, but if they are as great as the shampoo and conditioner, I'll be thrilled.

ReplyDeleteAs with all shampoos the trick is to rinse very well. Use Shielo's Volume Shampoo because it does lift for volume. Your hair should squeak. It does seem to dry out your hair but that is what removes oils that creates flatness. If you have dry hair to begin with, this might not be for you unless you use conditioner(which defeats the purpose of fullness). For me with fine oily hair it is a dream. It is also easy to style while blow-drying.
