Review: Sisters Gourmet

I miss watching Oprah because she always had the best product recommendations on her show.  I somehow missed one of her favorite products! I don’t know how this happened, but I’m glad that I caught up to notice Sisters Gourmet.  They sell really awesome baking mixes! For instance, I tried the Million Dollar Cookie Mix and the Billion Dollar Brownie Mix. They arrive in the cute packaging in the picture below.  They are so cute, that I was a little nervous to open them because I appreciated how cute the packaging was!  Let me tell you that I was thrilled to open and use them though because the mixes are awesome! 

The mixes were easy to use and the cookies and brownies turned out perfect!  It was easy to find volunteers to taste them and provide feedback. My husband, toddler, and some neighbors tried them out and everyone was in love with them!  I think that my toddler's reaction to them was priceless.  First, he couldn't believe that I was allowed to have both a cookie and brownie.  Then you can see in the photos that he was in all of his glory!  He kissed the cookie and brownie, he smiled and laughed while eating, and looked like he was the happiest baby in the world!

The Million Dollar Cookie mix: These cookies were easy to make and they turned out excellent. I really liked that there were oats in them. Everyone knows that I am an excellent cook, but these cookies were better than my best recipe.

The Billion Dollar Brownie mix: These brownies were easy to make and they were rich and decadent as you would guess! My toddler was very upset that he could only have one brownie.  He has been saying "brownie" all night in hope of getting another one.  My husband said that he felt the same way -- he wants to eat the entire tray of brownies.
