Review: Dole Real Fruit Bites
My toddler is a picky eater, but if you’ve read some of my other posts, you know that we attend a “Picky Eater” class and try everything to make eating more enjoyable for him. I thought that he might like these Dole Real Fruit Bites because they come in cute little packages and they have dried fruit with a coating of yogurt and toasted whole grain oats. We tried the pineapple variety and his reaction was funny. He put one in his mouth and spit it out. I pretended not to watch and then he put another in his mouth and actually ate it. He then quickly ate the entire package as if he had never eaten before! They were a hit! I will definitely look for the apple and mango varieties on my next trip to the grocery store!
While I gave these to my toddler, they are great for adults too. Each pack is 80 to 90 calories, no trans fat, and are source of vitamin C. They are $3.29 for a pack of six pouches at most stores (although maybe it varies geographically.)
