Review: Optics Eye Care Products
My "purple bin" is a large Rubbermaid container that I use to store extras of products that we need such as shampoo, conditioner, first aid items, moisturizer, deodorant, etc. I like having an extra of everything so that I am never stressed that I ran out of floss or something and need to make a special trip to buy more at the last minute. It's just my personality - I can't take disorganization or unpleasant surprises that I run out of something basic. A PR rep for Optics eye care products recently contacted me to see if I was interested in reviewing some of their products. I was so happy that she contacted me because I realized that the eye drops in my purple bin had expired and I didn't have eye wash! I can't believe that my extensive and organized collection did not have eye wash because it is super important to have on hand for emergencies, especially with an active and curious toddler! Not only did they send these basics, but I think that they sent me a high quality set of products. How awesome is that? Here are my thoughts on each item:
- The OcuFresh Eye Wash is in convenient packaging and the products are preservative-free. The last time that I bought eye wash, it was a multi-use bottle. The OcuFresh eye wash is really nice because it has 6 individually sealed containers of the eye wash instead of a multi-use bottle.
- The Eye-Cept Rewetting Drops are really cool because the box contains 20 sterile single-use droppers and the products are preservative-free. My husband frequently complains of how dry his eyes are when he wears contacts, so these are perfect for him.
- The MiniDrops Lubricant Eye Drops are great because we live in a dry climate. My favorite part is that the box contains 30 sterile single-use droppers so I can carry them in my purse, use them, and dispose of them. I used to carry a bottle of eye drops in my purse, but the container would get dirty in my purse and the labels would wear off so I am thrilled to use these instead.
- The OcuSave Eye Vitamin and Mineral Supplement has 50 mg of Lutein and 1mg of Zeaxanthin. The box contains 30 soft gels.
