Review: Garfield Spring Collection Show
Release date: February 19, 2013
I know that I recommend a lot of movies and you may sometimes want to clean out old ones as your kids outgrow them. If you are looking to trade in, musicMagpie.com is a site to check out! They make it easy to get cash for music, CDs, and games. It's totally free to use.
OK, on to the review! My son is a HUGE Garfield fan. He started watching him before he could even pronounce "Garfield". He called him, "GarCat". The name has stuck and we all laugh about how funny "GarCat" is. I felt like Oprah today because I brought home a box of Girl Scout cookies and yelled, "I brought you..... Girl Scout Co-o-o-o-kies!" My son was so excited and started yelling, "Cookies! Cookies!" I then told him, "That's not all! I have a Gar-C-a-a-at DVD!" He was so excited that he was jumping up and down by the time I handed him the DVD.
He loved these episodes. The birds in this DVD are adorable and seemed to be my son's favorite part. You can see some of them on the cover of the package below, but they are also adorable when you see them on the screen. I won't ruin this for you and tell you the endings or anything, but I will say that our family had a fun time watching it!
I think that this is a great DVD for a family movie night!
Here is information from a press release:
Garfield invites you to join him this spring! So grab your camera and head on outside as Garfield and his friends embark on a series of adventures. Watch as he almost gets thrown out of the house when Jon becomes allergic to cats. Then take a break and head on to the farm as Garfield joins in the daily raising of his farm animal pals! All seems to be going well until he ends up saving a blue bird from a hungry cat and almost gets caught by a dogcatcher. There is never a dull moment when Garfield is around!
