Review: GoodNites Disposable Bed Mats (Consumer Voted Product of the Year)
I know many moms that are frustrated when their older children wet the bed. I've read a lot about bed wetting this is something that children need
to grow out of. It breaks my heart when parents don't understand that an
older who struggles with nighttime wetting just needs more time to grow
out of it. I cringe at the idea of someone yelling at their child for bed wetting. Personally, I believe that parents have a responsibility to make their children feel as secure as possible in the world so that they can flourish. Handling bed wetting is a frustrating situation for everyone involved, but it is important to handle it with love and compassion. I feel like the designers of GoodNites Disposable Bed Mats get this! They help moms to provide their children with a friendly bed thanks to the security of the disposable mats. At the same time, they make it easier for parents to clean up a bed wetting mess.
I'm not the only one that loves GoodNites -- consumers voted them as a Product of the Year!
My favorite feature of these disposable mats is that they can adhere to the top of a sheet so that they stay secure, but are later easy to pull off and dispose. It saves a lot of laundry as I don't have to wash the sheets under it. This is a lifesaver and changes our day-to-day lives since we are not constantly washing sheets. At the same time, I don't think that they are too expensive because one of these bed mats is cheaper than the time, energy, and laundry supplies that go into washing wet sheets.
Another important feature of GoodNites Disposable Bed Mats is that they are child-friendly. These would not work for many children if they didn't adhere to the top of their sheet since it would be too difficult to keep it in place when they toss and turn at night. I also feel that they are relatively soft and quiet so that they are not disruptive. Comfort is important!
Finally, these are a great solution for when your child wants to sleep outside of their bed. For instance, you can use them at hotels, sleep-overs, or even if you child wants to sleep in your bed. They are convenient!
If your child is struggling with bed wetting, please do me a favor and visit the Better Night Network to find information from pediatricians about bed wetting. I know that bed wetting is incredibly frustrating, especially when you have an older child, but it is something that they may grow out of.
This post means a lot to me. I hope that I help many people since we have ~20,000 followers, but even if it only helps one person, I'll be happy that I made a difference. Please share a comment to inspire other moms - When did your child stop wetting the bed?

ReplyDeleteI really don't know why someone hasn't come out with these before. A great idea. I always used plastic lined table clothes and these is so much more absorbent and comfortable.
