Review: Racor - Garden Tool Rack

Review: Racor - Garden Tool Rack
If you visit regularly, you know that we are struggling with our small garage. We had an over-sized garage at our old house, but the garage in the new house that we bought is small and difficult to manage. I've used a few products from Racor Home Storage Solutions that have been helpful. The latest one that I tried is the Garden Tool Rack. Now that Spring is here, we need to keep our garden supplies within easy access. The Garden Tool Rack is a lifesaver! We were able to install the Garden Tool Rack so that it is out of reach from my toddler, but also easy to access.

Check out the description from the Racor website:

"The Racor Garden Tool Rack creates an efficient, multi-functional storage solution for all your garden tools and more. How many shovels, rakes, brooms, and general gardening supplies do you have in your garage? If you are like most people you have quite a collection. The Garden Tool Rack can hold up to 10 long-handled garden tools neatly off the floor, but that’s not the only way it helps you organize and save space. This rack also features a storage basket that is removable for carrying hand tools and other small items out to the garden, as well as a built-in shelf for storing gardening gloves, shoes, or other supplies. The Garden Tool Rack stores 35lbs of supplies and is made of sturdy solid steel with a durable epoxy finish to ensure against wear and rust.
No assembly required; simply mount to the wall with provided hardware. Order yours today, and reclaim your garage!"
This arrived exactly as described. I liked that there was no assembly required and that it was quick and easy to install onto the wall. As you can see, we put it high enough on the wall that I don't have to worry about my toddler getting into it.  I can't emphasize enough that this is really important to me! I did not want my toddler to try to open cabinets or pull any of this stuff off of a shelf that he could reach. It is so tempting to him because they look like "toys" for a sandbox! I no longer have to worry about him getting into our garden supplies.

I also love how this Garden Tool Rack provides all of the options to hang different tools and to store our supplies. Everything is easy to see and grab as we need it.

This is one of those items that makes me think - I wish that I would have had this sooner! It's such a great idea, especially for trendy moms that want to store things out of reach from little ones.

  1. Better garage storage is ALWAYS a great idea -- even if you have a large garage!

  3. Our new garage is much smaller (or spacious) than our last one and so I can definitely understand your frustration. We don't have any small toddlers though, so we are able to keep our items a bit lower, but still there's not much room to walk around without having to watch for something that might be in your way. The Racor tool looks much larger in your photo than I expected it to be just looking at the product picture. I'm glad that it can hold a heavy items like containers and tools. It's perfect size to hold everything that is needed for gardening, i.e. the gloves and the hand cultivator. I'm sure it could hold more, which is great because some of us have too many tools collected over time. Thanks for sharing your review!
