Orb Factory Sticky Mosaics - A Fun Activity for Kids

Orb Factory Sticky Mosaics - A Fun Activity for Kids
We live in the Dallas metro and the heat is often chasing us indoors! I've been on the lookout for fun activities to entertain my son indoors while we spend most of our days hiding from the extreme heat. The Today Show featured some products from Orb Factory which made me want to learn more about what they had to offer. I found that they have an awesome selection of projects for girls and boys.  I was excited to try out the Sticky Mosaic Projects.  We tried a couple that my son loves - Robots and Curse of the Treasure Chest.

These projects are really great for my son because he loves stickers and is obsessed with Robots and Pirates. They include a variety of stickers and gems that you stick to the figures. They place the little stickers and gems based on the numbers that are laid out in cool patterns.

I often feel that my son has a short attention span, so I was surprised that he was very patient and spent hours working on these projects!  He was really into them and had a lot of fun.  Another really cool thing is that even though the stickers are fancy (shiny, gems, etc.), they were also forgiving. Whenever my son was slightly off in lining a sticker up, he was able to peel it off and try again.  It was fun to see his little perfectionist qualities come out!
Check him out as he is hard at work!
Of course, after all of that concentration, it's time to party with the robots.  He loves playing with these, especially the robot named Gordo. It's too funny.  He also loves showing them off.
Do you have any fun activities to entertain children this summer when it is too hot to go outside?
