How to Make Your Own Rustic Wood Slice Ornament with a Wood Burning Pen

DIY Wood Slice Ornament with a Wood Burning Pen
Supplies

• 3.5" to 4" wood slices from a log - Amazon has Unfinished Wood Slices that are great! 
• One wood burning pen - Amazon has a good wood burning pen for under $11!
• One drill
• String or twine of your choice
• Optional: Gems and glue for embellishments

Directions

1. Carefully drill a small hole into the top of the wood slice.  

2. Draw the snowflake pattern (or other pattern) with a pencil.

3. Use the wood burning pen to trace the pattern that you drew with a pencil.

4. Tie the string or twine through the hole for the ornament.

5. Optional: Glue gems onto your ornament.
