Vote in the MoonShare Campaign to Help Two Texas Heroes!

In today's post, I hope that you will join me and vote to support two brave and selfless Texans who risked their lives for our safety. Let me share their stories and then tell you about how Sugarlands Distilling Company, the Official Moonshine of NASCAR, is honoring heroes across the United States and how we have an opportunity to vote to support heroes from our community through the 2019 MoonShare campaign.

In July 2016, Sergeant Shaw was injured in the line of duty during a deadly shooting in Dallas, Texas, in which five police officers were killed. In November 2016, Trooper Shaw, was shot while on assignment on the Texas-Mexico border when a firefight erupted on the Mexico side of the Rio Grande. Since the shootings both have been able to return to work. They have not been able to return to the duties which they performed before the shootings and have been assigned to other duties. Danny Shaw Jr. has a wife and three children. He is coach in little league baseball and girls’ softball. 

Bryan Shaw has a wife and twin boys. He is active with all his family activities.  

They were both nominated for the 2019 MoonShare campaign by their father.

Thanks to the Sugarlands Distilling Company, we have the opportunity to support our Texas heroes!   The 2019 MoonShare campaign is sharing stories of America’s Heroes and asking the public to vote for their favorite heroes. The group of heroes with the most votes will be sent to Talladega Superspeedway in October for a weekend of celebration and VIP experiences at the fall NASCAR race.   This is the last week of voting.
