Visit the New Crumbl Cookie Store in Forney, TX for the Grand Opening on October 6th! (Crumbl Cookies is from our homework of Logan, UT!)

If you follow regularly, you may know that I lived in Logan, UT before moving to Texas.  While I've grown to love Texas, there are moments when I want to go home to Logan. I miss the friendly faces of my neighbors, the annual Pumpkin Walk at Elk Ridge Park where people create delightful pumpkin-themed displays, the sight of fluffy snowflakes in winter, and of course, the mouthwatering indulgence of Crumbl Cookies. While I can't bring my neighbors, the Pumpkin Walk, or the snowy scenes to Texas, I'm thrilled to share some exciting news: one of the best parts of Logan is making its way to Forney, TX – Crumbl Cookies! In today's post, I can't wait to tell you all about their fabulous grand opening celebration and the delectable cookies that are sure to impress you.

Let's start with a quick overview of my favorite cookie shop - Crumbl Cookies. It was founded in Logan, UT by perfectionists who envisioned a cookie shop with delicious and generously sized cookies. If you are curious, here is a photo of the original Crumbl Cookies shop.

Their cookies aren't just cookies! Their chefs obsessively create and tweak recipes until they are absolutely perfect before you see cookies show up on the menu.  They constantly create new recipes and update the menu weekly!  In fact, one of my weekly rituals includes checking the Crumbl Cookies website on Sunday evening to learn about the new cookie menu for the week.  My youngest son always joins me as we excitedly browse the menu and debate which cookie we want this week! It's a fun tradition!

For instance, this week's menu features:

• 🌾 OATMEAL MALLOW SANDWICH (NEW): Two oatmeal cookies with molasses, vanilla, and cinnamon flavors, sandwiching a layer of marshmallow cream cheese frosting.
• 🍏 CARAMEL APPLE: A warm cinnamon apple cookie topped with caramel cream cheese frosting, chopped Granny Smith apples, a drizzle of caramel, and a house-made streusel.
• 🥜 PEANUT BUTTER MUNCH: A peanut butter cookie topped with a symphony of milk chocolate, a crunch of peanut butter coated cereal pieces, and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
• 💭 DARK DREAM: A decadent chocolate cookie packed and topped with gooey semi-sweet chocolate chips.
• 🍃 CHOCOLATE GREEN MINT: A chocolate cookie packed with green mint pieces and rolled in cookies & cream crumbs, then smothered in green mint buttercream frosting and sprinkled with cookies & cream bits.
• 🍪 SEMI-SWEET CHOCOLATE CHUNK: Chocolate chip, but make it chunky—a delicious cookie filled with irresistible semi-sweet chocolate chunks and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.
