In today's post, I'm excited to share a fun Christmas game that my family adopted a few years ago.  The basic idea is that I stock up on festive treats from CVS, wrap them, and let people trade their mystery items throughout the game that uses dice to determine their luck!  This Holiday Hosting tip is one of my favorites because it's a lot of fun, is easy to organize on short notice, is inexpensive, and great for almost any holiday get-together. This year, it's more convenient than ever to put this game together because CVS offers a FREE BOPIS -  Buy Online and Pickup In-Store! CVS has thousands of holiday gifts for under $20, as well as, the ultimate holiday candy selection!

Let me start by sharing that the CVS Buy On-line and Pick-up In-Store(BOPIS) option that is completely FREE! As my son says, it's Free-fifty, meaning it's a free service!  Unlike many other stores that started charging for in-store pickup, CVS is dedicated to saving you time so that you can focus on things that matter most to you this holiday season!

Personally, we find that this game is a lot of fun with just a $5 budget per person because we stock up on a mix of smaller and larger food items like Grand Ferraro Rocher Gift Boxes, Combos, Kinder Eggs, Movie Theater Style Boxes of Candy, Wonderful Pistachios, Andes Candies, Pringles, Reese's Pieces Filled Candy Canes, and Tic Tacs. The Grand Ferraro Rocher Gift Boxes are on sale for Buy-One-Get-One-50%-Off this week.  Some items are more or less than $5, but it's easy to buy items that overall average to <$5/person.

Game: A Fun Christmas Game With Prizes for 10 People for Under $5 per Person

Supplies:

• Approximately 2 to 3 small holiday treats per person, including some of our favorites: 
• Grand Ferraro Rocher Gift Boxes, 
• Combos, 
• Kinder Eggs, 
• Movie Theater Style Boxes of Candy, 
• Wonderful Pistachios, 
• Andes Candies, 
• Pringles,
• Reese's Pieces Filled Candy Canes, and 
• Tic Tacs
• One: Roll of Wrapping paper or gift boxes
• One: Roll of Tape
• One: Scissors
• One: Dice

Directions

1. Wrap the prizes.  If desired, you wrap them in ways that make it harder to guess the items such as putting stuff inside of wrapping paper tubes, larger boxes, and more!

2. Place the prizes for the players to browse.

3. Allow the youngest player to go first and then take turns by moving left in a circle.

4. If a player rolls a 3, they may choose a gift from the pile, but they may not unwrap it.

5. The next player to roll a 3 may choose a gift from the pile or take anyone else's gift. If someone's gift is taken, they take a different gift from the pile.

6. The game continues until all prizes are taken.

7. At the end of the game, all of the players unwrap their gifts to find the surprises!
