The package arrived to our doorstep by FedEx.  I timed the process for my husband to remove the portable air conditioning unit from the box, install it, and turn it on.   This took 19 minutes and 15 seconds. The process was very intuitive and user friendly.   The designers of this portable a/c unit seem like perfectionists that paid meticulous attention to detail so that customers could easily take on this cool DIY project.  My husband assembled just a few pieces that didn't require tools.

We then opened our bedroom window slightly and installed a thin piece of plastic and the tubing in just a few minutes. We have standard size windows and the process was seamless.
