The Season 2 Premiere of Big Little Lies is Tomorrow on HBO + Equinox Big Little Lies "Best Stretch Ever" Classes

HBO's award-winning series, Big Little Lies, is back for another season. In today's post, I'll give a quick overview of the popular series and tell you about their partnership with Equinox gyms for special Big Little Lies themed “Best Stretch Ever” classes at Equinox locations across the U.S.

Last night, I attended a trendy event at the Equinox in Highland Park, TX to celebrate the second season of Big Little Lies.  We enjoyed mini HydraFacial treatments, nail polish changes, and quick massages before the highlight of the event - a sneak peak of the Season 2 Premiere of Big Little Lies!  I won't spoil the episode for you, but I will share a quick overview of the series and tell you that this episode is dark, funny, and makes me excited about the rest of the season.

Where: Exclusively on HBO and will be available to stream anytime on HBO GO and HBO NOW, in addition to HBO On Demand and affiliate portals.

This is a quick summary of the show that doesn't spoil any surprises:

On the surface, in the tranquil seaside town of Monterey, California, everything seems the same. The mothers continue to dote, the husbands support, the children remain adorable and the houses are just as beautiful. But the night of the school fundraiser changed all that, leaving the community reeling as the “Monterey Five” — Madeline, Celeste, Jane, Renata and Bonnie — bond together to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives. The darkly comedic drama will continue to explore the malignancy of lies, the durability of friendships, the fragility of marriage and, of course, the vicious ferocity of sound parenting. Multiple characters will be dealing with Perry’s death, and the prospect of moving past a life-altering event.

The all-star cast includes Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep, Shailene Woodley, Alexander Skarsgard, Adam Scott, Zoe Kravitz, Jeffrey Nordling, Laura Dern, Kathryn Newton, Sara Sokolovic, Crystal Fox, and more.   They do an amazing job in this series!

As I mentioned, HBO and Equinox teamed up to offer Big Little Lies themed “Best Stretch Ever” classes at Equinox locations across the U.S. on 5/30. Members can check their respective club’s fitness Class Schedule via the Equinox website or app to see if the “Big Little Stretch” class is offered at their location. The “Big Little Stretch,” HBO’s take on Equinox’s cult favorite class will feature iconic music from the BIG LITTLE LIES soundtrack paired with the class’s posture-improving, stability-increasing, body-awareness-enhancing stretching. Class attendees will receive limited edition BIG LITTLE LIES swag after each class while supplies last.
