Remind Your Children to Seize or Squeeze the Day with Slammer's Pouches!

In today's post, I'll share a trendy way to send motivational messages to your child at snack time. We use Slammer's superfood snacks and dress them up with Squeeze the Day messages as a play on Seize the Day

As I mentioned, we send Slammer's superfood snacks to school with our children. They love the taste, but there are a few other reasons that we love them too. First, this brand uses high quality ingredients and many of the varieties are packed with protein and nutrients. The second reason is that the pouches are not messy, so it's easier for preschool teachers to give the kids a snack without a big mess such as cookies, cupcakes, or other foods that cause crumbs. (My son's preschool teachers have commented that they love how I always send low-mess snacks to school with him. They've also appreciated it when I sent them for the entire class.)  Finally, my children and their friends love Slammer's. They are quite popular with the preschool crowd. (Actually, my 8 year old and his friends love them too!)   As promised, let me share the craft project!

Project: Squeeze the Day with Slammer's Pouches
Supplies
  • Boxes of your favorite Slammer's Superfood Snack Pouches
  • Scissors
  • Hole puncher
  • Glitter glue
  • Notepaper such as the pink paper that we have below
  • Ribbon
  • Printed or handwritten messages that say, "Squeeze the Day!"

Directions
1. Cut the notepaper into approximately 3"x3" pieces.

2. Cut your "Squeeze the Day" messages into the shape of a cloud and glue them onto the paper.

3. Use the hole puncher to create a hole in the upper left corner.

4. Use a ribbon to attach the message.

Snack time is usually one of the best times of day for a child at school. It's a great time to take advantage of their happy mood and send a message that gives encouragement to make the most of their day.  They are great for individual snacks or if you are sending snacks for the entire class!
