MOOYAH has Family Friendly Meals (Vegans Included) + Free Delivery for the Rest of the Month!

If you follow regularly, you know that MOOYAH is one of our favorite restaurants. They are the burger experts and have a variety of Lifestyle Burgers to cover almost any dietary preference, including Vegan, Paleo, Keto, Low Calorie, Vegetarian, and Gluten-free burgers. In today's post, I will tell you about The Vegan Burger. I will also share details about how MOOYAH is currently offering free delivery for the rest of the month (no minimum delivery size).  Let me share the details!

The MOOYAH Lifestyle Burgers are shown below. They offer Vegan, Paleo, Keto, Low Calorie, Gluten-free, and Vegetarian burgers. I love that you are able to order them as-is or customize with your favorite type of bun (or lettuce) and toppings.

Personally, I was excited to find The Vegan Burger.  If you follow regularly, you may remember that my youngest son had an anaphylactic reaction to dairy when he was an infant.  I gave him a bottle of formula around 3 months old which caused the reaction. His allergist told me that he was the youngest patient that he ever had, so he worked closely with our pediatrician. I had to change to a dairy-free diet and breastfeed him for over a year. He outgrew the food allergy at 14 months. In the meantime, I learned a lot about vegan and dairy-free foods. I initially found the diet change to be overwhelming, but it became easier with time as I learned more meal options that I enjoyed. A network of moms helped me through the transition, including other moms who had children with similar allergies. There were also several moms who changed to a dairy-free and/or vegan diet in their 40's due to adult acne. They guided me through my diet changes and helped me to find my new go-to meals and snacks.  It's not easy to make a sudden dietary change, so I am grateful for the village of moms who helped me through the transition.

One challenge that many people on a vegan diet experience is that it's not always easy to find restaurants that offer good vegan food. They seem to overlook vegan customers.  One restaurant that is amazing for vegans though is MOOYAH! At quick glance, you may think of MOOYAH as simply a burger restaurant with their iconic burgers, fresh-cut fries, and milkshakes. However, their team has also given a lot of thought to the diversity of customer dietary concerns and how to perfect burgers for many different preferences, including vegans!    Their chefs are amazing and I'm convinced that they are perfectionists because they seem to pay meticulous attention to every detail in their recipes. They are generous with good quality ingredients and large portion sizes. The Vegan Burger deserves an award because it's amazing!

The Vegan Burger contains Dr. Praeger's Black Bean Vegan Patty with avocado, sautéed mushrooms, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, BBQ sauce, and a potato bun.  You may customize it to add/remove toppings or swap the bun, but I ordered it with the default options and loved it!  I wasn't raised as a vegan and have to admit that I am probably pickier than most when it comes to vegan meal options. However, this vegan burger used a recipe that is primarily from black beans in combination with some other ingredients and was amazing to me! I like it just as much as a regular burger.   Plus, MOOYAH fries pair well with The Vegan Burger.

The rest of my family is not vegan.  They love the iconic MOOYAH burgers and the kids meal options.  For instance, the burger below is on a whole wheat bun and includes blue cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and ketchup.

My children love the kids meal with the Hebrew National 100% Kosher Beef Hot Dog on a Non-GMO Potato Bun. The side options include fries or applesauce. My children love the applesauce and then take some of my fries. The portions for fries are generous, so it works out well for us!  Drinks include soda, juice, or milk. You may also upgrade to a shake. The photo below shows a strawberry milkshake. My children rave about the MOOYAH kids meals!

Finally, I know that many of us are following social distancing recommendations to avoid the Coronavirus. MOOYAH recently announced free delivery for the rest of the month. (No minimum size order is required!) This makes it easy to order delicious food.  Personally, my children are home from school for at least two more weeks and we are staying inside as recommended. Special deliveries make our days more exciting. The free delivery deal from MOOYAH is a good one to take advantage of while your family is at home. Simply create a Rewards account.  Then place your order through the app or at order.mooyah.com. There is no minimum order for the free delivery through 3/31/2020!

I hope that you will give The Vegan Burger a chance and find that you enjoy it like me. I also hope that the free delivery without minimum purchase helps to add excitement to your family's day!
