5 Fashion Tips for Zoom Meetings from Home
Now that everyone is working from home, I thought that I would share some work-from-home fashion tips for those who have to connect with co-workers, clients, or customers online. 1. Invest fitted tees and leggings for at-home comfort that looks good on camera.
My favorite work-from-home outfit for days where I have meetings is a plain black Short Sleeve Crew Neck Tee, black Yoga Leggings, and an olive colored Knit and Silk Cardigan. They offer many items that are perfect to wear in layers.  When working from home with my children, I love wearing my Skinnytees top and leggings. 2. Buy cardigans to wear over base layers.

I also have others in my rotation, but this is my favorite one.  I'm able to go from comfortable in my fitted tee and leggings to business casual in less than 30 seconds by adding a cardigan when it's time for a zoom meeting.

3. Angle the camera at a flattering angle.
We all have our best camera angles. I angle my camera slightly above me so that it looks down.  Some people feel that one side is better than another. Just angle the camera to your preference!

4. Wear layers.
If you are like me, you have had zoom meetings that go on for hours. Wear layers for these meetings in case you get hot or cold. Personally, my husband's office gets hotter than the rest of our house, so he sometimes adjusts the a/c to make his office cooler. It results in my room getting colder too. I like having a cardigan nearby.

5. Avoid bright patterns and stripes.
Your in-person dress code should be respected in zoom meetings as well, but keep in mind that bright patterns and stripes may not be as flattering on camera. Take some selfies and make a judgement call if they look okay on camera.
