Support Dallas Teachers by Voting in Sonic's Fall Voting Campaign!

Teachers are amazing. They are filled with love and dedication to help our children to live up to their potential.  Teaching has always been a lot of work, but it became even more challenging as the pandemic posed new challenges.  I was excited to see that Sonic plans to donate $1 million to support teachers!  That's not a typo -- they plan to donate $1,000,000 to fulfill teacher wishlists by distributing $250,000 each week for four weeks. Some of the teachers that may possibly win are located right here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I hope that you will join me in voting for teachers who have big hearts and are making a difference!

At the close of Week 1, Sonic guests and fans voted online as to how Sonic’s weekly donation of $250K will be distributed. Texas teachers were at the top of the list! A total of 36 public school teachers in Dallas received the most votes for their projects nationwide!

I love browsing the list of teacher projects. They are inspirational and remind of the love in the world to help children to succeed. Such projects that were submit by teachers and received the most votes include:
  • Distance Learning That Reaches Students! at Daggest Montessori Elementary School which will use the funds to provide a Document Camera to help students with special needs doing virtual learning
  • Hands On Science At Home at Jess Harben Elementary School which will provide crafts and materials for her pre-k students to better follow along with learning concepts from home
There are still three weeks left in the campaign and guests can continue to vote daily for a product of their choice at LimeadesforLearning.com.  Plus, you may score extra votes by looking for codes on Sonic bags. Special bags have a code for two extra votes!

In just a few short weeks, Sonic will have funded more than $1M worth of teacher projects. I hope that you will take the time to vote daily to support our teachers in Texas!

Finally, let me share a fun Bingo game that goes along with the Limeades for Learning campaign. It's a lot of fun!
